Bismarckia nobilis is native to Madagascar and is a warm temperate to tropical palm which needs plenty of space and full sun. Although it is a warm climate palm, it will also tolerate drought and light frost when well established. It is also quite resistant to pests and disease and can handle a wide range of soil types so long as they are well drained. In good conditions Bismarckia
