It's manual focus, with a mechanical diaphragm, and image quality is actually, surprisingly good, even wide open. I mean, obviously, depth of field is minimal, and f1. 25 is not the place to be for critical sharpness, but it's usable, and that's kind of impressive. In excellent condition, with clean glass.
