It attaches to the swinging arm of the Old Style Wimberley Head (not version II) and sits above the lens; allowing for the changing of lenses without removing the flash. (The Nikon SC 29 cord is not compatible with the bracket without the FA 11 adaptor.) Very minor cosmetic signs of wear from normal use.
